Dr. Ann Bosiack, DVM, ms, dacvo – owner & founder
Dr. Bosiack founded Veterinary Vision Specialists in January 2025.
Originally from Northern Virginia, Dr. Bosiack graduated from high school in McLean, VA, before earning her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wake Forest University. Her journey into veterinary medicine began during her undergraduate years when she worked at a local emergency veterinary hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. It was during this time, after adopting her first dog, Kelsey, that she realized her true passion for veterinary medicine.
Dr. Bosiack pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Missouri, graduating summa cum laude in 2009. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania before returning to the University of Missouri for a residency in ophthalmology. Following her residency, she moved back to the East Coast to be closer to family.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bosiack has been recognized for her academic excellence and contributions to veterinary medicine. As a veterinary student, she served as president of the Emergency and Critical Care Club and assisted in teaching anatomy labs to first-year students. She received numerous awards, including the CVM Memorial Scholarship for the highest scholastic average, the Microscopic Anatomy Award, and the Public Health Student Award, among others. During her residency, she was honored with the ACVO Resident Best Basic Science Manuscript Award and the ACVO Cindy Wheeler Memorial Award for best review article.
Dr. Bosiack has also contributed to the field through research and publications in veterinary ophthalmology. Her work includes studies on retinal atrophy in African black-footed cats and advancements in canine corneal fibrosis treatment, among other topics.
Her passion for veterinary medicine stems from a lifelong love of animals, particularly dogs and horses. She thrives in the fast-paced environment of veterinary care and is dedicated to improving the lives of her patients through cutting-edge ophthalmologic treatments.
Outside of work, Dr. Bosiack enjoys spending time with her three children, her dog, Dallas, and her cat, Iris—one of her former rescue patients. She loves traveling, working out, and riding horses. In her free time, she can often be found working on puzzles or playing chess.

As Dr. Bosiack right hand or brain at times – Danielly highlights the remarkable work and expertise of the veterinary team and is excited to invite you on VVS’s journey to make a difference in our animal community.
Fluent in “animal”, she has a passion for caregiving and brings 15 years of experience to her role. Danielly has previously worked in the early child education, and has even been Dr. Bosiacks nanny for the last 6 years.
With a keen understanding of digital storytelling, Danielly plays a crucial role in elevating the visibility of veterinary eye care and fostering deeper understanding off its importance in the lives of pets and their owners. Danielly truly cares about the well being of all animals, helping educate and support pet owners on their journey.
When Danielly is not at work she enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend, her dog, Emmy, and her two kitties- Charlotte and Cheshire. Danielly loves being around her friends and family the most. She enjoys being in nature, bird watching, thrifting, home projects, and making a difference in her community.

Kenzie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with eight years of experience in the veterinary field. This past May marked three years since she earned her LVT license after graduating cum laude from Blue Ridge Community College. She has been working in veterinary ophthalmology for over two years and brings extensive knowledge, compassion, and attention to detail to every patient she assists. Kenzie is passionate about animal care and dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of pets and their families.
At our hospital, Kenzie serves as Dr. Bosiack’s right hand in surgery, ensuring each procedure runs smoothly and efficiently. Her meticulous attention to detail, Type A organization, and strong understanding of medical principles bring an unmatched level of care to our patients. Kenzie’s dedication to both animals and their families is evident in everything she does—from assisting in delicate ophthalmic surgeries to comforting patients during recovery.
Outside of work, Kenzie enjoys reading, spending time with friends, relaxing by the river, and spending time with her Labrador, Sadie, and her cat, Arcee. Kenzie enjoys renovating her home, a good tv show, and loves being outdoors.
